Iron Man (2008): Deleted Scenes
Tony Comes Home
You better stop pretending to be a hero.
Everything special about you came out of a bottle.
My other dad is America :DD
An old married couple…
If only I could make a deal with God, and get him to swap our places. (x)
marvel rule 63: tony stark
My bond is with the people, and I will serve this great nation at the pleasure of myself. If there’s one thing I’ve proven it’s that you can count on me to pleasure myself.
#g o d sometimes i think of this and laugh because you can forget about the cult following in universe as well as out of universe #the way people would talk about tony stark as a woman would focus more on her sexual escapades than her role in the military complex #her nickname wouldn’t be the merchant of death it’d be girl gone wild #and the media coverage would look more like that of a socialite than donald trump #and you can forget about her heading the board once her sex tape leaks even if all those old white men knew how brilliant she was #they’d rather run the company into the ground with basic designs than let her at the helm
Not everyone gets their happy ending. Sometimes it’s just an ending.
Steve, Tony can’t handle all your sassiness.
I think everybody who writes Steve who cannot even use a microwave should watch this episode of Avengers Assemble. As silly as the show is, it still shows something about Steve that people should understand: Steve was frozen for seventy years but he’s not stupid, he never was, and with super soldier serum he can adapt fast. Very fast. Even if modern tech was (and sometimes still is) confusing for him, he learns. In the episode he reads science tech magazine (“Futura. Never Miss an issue.”), and he’s sassing the hell out of Tony who tries to mock him. He’s working to fit into the world he’s living in now, because there’s not coming back. He’s sentimental, yes, he misses the forties, yes, but he’s not stupid. He knows how to adapt.
